Founded by Leopoldo Peña and Peter Truog, Presta builds on the success of the founders’ first company, The Opportunity Exchange, which helped cities connect local businesses to equity investors. With years of industry expertise in both lending and technology, Leo and Peter understand what it means to be a customer-obsessed company. While it may seem like table stakes, the listen-first approach to customer discovery has been recognized as noteworthy by the lenders using Presta’s platform.
Presta also recently raised an investment round to support platform roll out and accelerate the loan origination process for lenders and borrowers. These funds are enabling our amazing team to listen to customers, build out new features, and help more funds connect capital to small businesses across the country.
